I think of hair the way an architect thinks of a building a problem of line, weight and the way light falls. Every face is a different elevation, and the cut has to answer it.
My salon is small on purpose. I see only a handful of people each day, never more. The work is slow because the work has to be slow.
I work from Prabhat, the salon my father, Bharat Sen, has shaped for decades. Since 1959, its reputation has been built one client at a time. Those who find their way here usually arrive knowing exactly why they’re there.
